Kentucky Heritage Candle
Dark Fired Kentucky
A southern tradition.
Celebrate one of our state's native cash crops, flourishing tobacco. Firing tobacco in barns across Western Kentucky has become a tradition for your sight and senses, producing an unmistakable aroma unique to our great state. This fragrance embodies this smoldering hardwood fire that smokes Kentucky tobacco, resembling a balanced blend of its valor, density, and slight sweetness. Aside from its overtones of smoke and tobacco, as you enjoy this fragrance, Dark Fired Kentucky unfolds with soft notes of creamy vanilla, coca, and aromatic spices to make a beautifully unique, satisfying, and masculine, strong Kentucky candle.

Crafted by hand
IN LEXINGTON, KY
We craft all of our candles by hand in single and small batches. This ensures top-of-the-line quality and love that can only emit from such care.
Before Each Use
Trim the candle's natural wicks to about 1/4" before each use. Trimming the wicks allows for a more even, consistent burn and will prevent black soot from building around the sides of your candle.
Because we craft our candles with natural ingredients, burning them continuously for about 4 hours during use is best. Snuffing our candles after about 4 hours allows ingredients in the candle to reset themselves and remain perfectly fragrant with each use.
Natural candles have a memory. So, if you're experiencing wax buildup around the sides of the container, don't worry and let it rest.
About the Wax
If you're burning the candle for about 4 hours during each use, and the wax begins to build up around the sides, keep taking care of the wicks before each use, and over time, this will sort itself out.
Wax Build Up
If you've read about our natural wax and are still experiencing buildup around the sides of your candle, chances are you're snuffing it too early with each use. Let an oil pool form entirely on the top before snuffing so the candle may start with a clean burn each use.
Reminds you of family because it's made by one.
